Built for the field
Colorboost tactical lenses are available in:
- Ballistic polycarbonate
- Goggles, shields, sunglasses, and prescription formats (single vision and progressive)
- Polarized, semi-polarized, and non-polarized options
- 100% UV protection up to 400 nm
- Anti-fog, anti-scratch, anti-reflective, hydrophobic, and oleophobic coatings
More signal. Less noise.
Every scene sends the eye two things at once: useful color signal and distracting color noise. Colorboost lenses are precision spectral filters that boost the signal and attenuate the noise before light ever reaches the retina.
The result is a cleaner, higher-contrast picture. Target colors stand out. Background clutter recedes. Edges, textures, and movement become easier to pick up and harder to lose.

Faster target identification
Subtle color differences that separate a target from its surroundings become easier to see.
Sharper target tracking
Higher color contrast helps the eye stay locked on a moving target across changing backgrounds.
Better depth judgment
Purer color and shading cues support more intuitive distance estimation.
Contrast you can measure, not just claim.
Most lens makers describe contrast with adjectives. We give you a number.
The Color Resolution Factor (CRF) is Hue Lens Colorboost’s proprietary metric for quantifying how many distinct colors a lens transmits to the eye. A clear lens is the baseline at 100%. Anything above that means more distinguishable shades reach the eye, which means more visual information to work with in the field.
Colorboost lenses reach CRF scores of up to 160%. That’s not a feeling or a marketing impression. It’s a measurable, repeatable gain in the eye’s ability to tell one color from the next.
Enhancement without distortion.
Contrast is only useful if it’s accurate. That’s why every Colorboost lens is also measured by its Color Accuracy Factor (CAF). With CAF scores up to 100%, Colorboost lenses expand color resolution while keeping hues true to life, so soldiers see more of the real scene rather than a shifted version of it.
For procurement teams, this means:
- An objective, quantitative basis for comparing lens performance
- Published methodology you can review: Measuring Color Contrast
- Results you can test against your current issue eyewear
